I have found that my business credit card can provide my business with a great source of instant short term credit when needed. The key is to make sure that if you do have a business credit card that you only use it for short term credit. Ideally you should pay the balance off before the end of the month in which you made the purchases using the card, as then you will not be charged interest. If you do not pay off the card then there is a risk that the balance builds up and then the repayments become very expensive.
